Ice Service

The Norwegian Coastal Administration provides the national Ice Service, which has two main tasks: 1. Provide ship traffic with updated information on ice conditions in Norwegian waters from the Swedish border to Kristiansand. 2. Icebreaking in main and secondary fairways outside port areas. Ice reports are available from December 1 to March 31.
